The PPL (Polypropylene) shield was developed by RAMCO to protect against hydrofluoric acid. PPL Vue-Gard Safety Shields are innovative see-through shields that permit easy identification and inspection of all pipe joints including flanges, valves, threaded connections and expansion joints.

Chemical Use: Hydrofluoric Acid

Characteristics

  • Withstands temperatures up to 225°F (107°C)
  • Pressures up to 1000 psi Mullen burst strength (69 bar)
  • Available with quarter inch threaded drain for secondary containment
